Johnstone's - Photo History

A donkey on the left attracts barefooted children in the early 1900, today my 'donkey' the (web mobile) attract people amazed that it could still drive! In 1853 the Johnstone Grand Industrial Exhibition was held in McDowall Street. The exhibition was converted into houses and was known as the "Exhibition Land", it was demolished in 1931
