We are a community in Scotland, that means we have played a part in the growth of a nation. We sometimes forget the buildings that have served past generations and by this we do not mean the grand and the lavish. A newsagent, a railway station or a pub will have been changed over the years. These changes take place over time and we come to accept our changes with little thought to what was there before.

Where we can find photos from our past, and that can be anything from a few years to the turn of the 19th century we'll try and replicate the angle and view as it is now and let you compare the changes, and sometimes the lack of changes, that have occurred.

If you have any photos you can share please let us know - we can scan them and return them to you with digital copies for your own use, crediting you with for the donation - click here to contact us
