There is really no better place to drink than in Johnstone and the surrounding area. Friendly banter and quality brews are the order of the day. Pubs are the oldest "social inclusion" institutions in Scotland, a fact that seems lost on the British Government. We did try and tell them this fact, thinking it would save them millions, however, we were far too included at the time and they dismissed us like journalists.

Thankfully a band of intrepid locals have taken to their heart the awesome task of ensuring that the local pubs and water holes are well documented. This can be a downright dangerous task, as to be thorough and professional, they have to consume a fair quantity of alcoholic beverages.

It is with such dedication that they have elected to remain anonymous, so as not to be tempted into falsifying a review on the promise of extra or discounted brew. This commitment has not gone unnoticed and you will find your rewards in the great pub in the sky.

Please note that reviews will coincide with the availability of drinking vouchers and are subject to a minimum level of sobriety.
